Powergroup Resources began in 2006 by Dennis Concordia in response to several family business owners asking for assistance with performance management, succession and strategic planning. Dennis’ goal was to improve businesses bottom line results through professional Human Resource practices.
Dennis crossed paths with Jake Dejong (The current president at PGR) in 2013. Together Dennis and Jake implemented best HR and management practices at a major family construction company. Dennis continued to mentor Jake over then next several years, and in 2019 Jake set out in his own consulting practice serving others and carrying on the legacy of POWERGROUP Resources with Dennis’ support.
Fast forward to today and POWERGROUP Resources has grown from a small business consulting firm to a team of over ten employees delivering holistic business services in the areas of HR, Recruiting, Accounting, and design support to small business owners.
To work alongside start-ups and small businesses and provide tools and accountability that will drive superior results.

That's the gap we sit in. My goal for every client, six months in, is simple: clean books, clear reports, confident decisions. Not because we're magic — because someone competent is finally handling the parts you never wanted to learn.
